Bluetooth - automatically connecting to nobody
***** Connecting 1:23:45 ... where the 1:23:45 represents an increasing time which I cannot stop. The audio is not lowered as if it's dialing out and my cellphone (VX6800) doesn't show it dialing anything either. The only way to stop this whole thing is to turn off my bluetooth on my phone. I've tried re-pairing the car & phone but still the same thing happens as soon as I turn on bluetooth on the phone.

Try pairing with a different phone and see if the same thing happens.
It does sound like a problem with the X5's BT unit.

I also used to have a bug with my last Verizon cell phone. The Bluetooth sometimes would act a little strange when I connected it to the X5. Once I got my new BlackBerry last month, I never had the problem again. I would suggest you try pairing another phone to see if that is the problem.

Tried again while fully prepaired to pair my wife's phone instead but the XV6800 bluetooth is working fine again. I think a full power on/off of the phone did it... seems to take care of battery-consumption gremlins once in a while too. Damn buggy windows products. When in doubt, reboot. Don't think it's the car but time will tell.

same thing happened to me just yesterday..
started her up, turned on the ipod and a few minutes laster it was interrupted to make a phone call via the BT paired blackberry... funny thing was i didn't initiate the call... and i couldn't terminate it either.. each time i disconnected the "pairing" via the phone itself it would fix itself and my music would return... but the system kept trying to re-establish a BT connection and each time it did it would make the phone call again... i finally pulled the battery out of the blackberry, re-inserted it and everything has been working fine since.... at this point i'm not sure if it was the blackberry or the idrive... go figure..
