i find it funny how people in general dog replica wheels and where they are made, here is a perfect example of OEM being made in a less than desirable area of the world where quality control can be less than perfect

I'm confused. I was actually interested in these but saw that they were listed for $5995. Is it really $1700 from an actual dealer such as Morristown mentioned above for 4 wheels???

Wow, someone is ripping you off big time. My parts department list them for 545 for the front and 585 for the back -- wheels only. so you're looking at $2260 for the wheels MSRP. Tires should run you anywhere from 1200 (bridgestone RFT) to 1800 (Dunlop RFT). So $5995 is a big rip-off.
Morristown usually provide good discount I bought some accessseris from them such as trunk mat at $58 vs. $77 list.

are you sure they're for the 214s? I think the 21" 128s are the ones retailing above $5k.

I'm going to check with the dealer again. It was the 214s but it was about 6 months ago.

What, does everything think even BMW is too good to outsource to other countries? Come on...they're a business. Just goes to show once again that you don't always get what you pay for when you buy from the stealership vs. online...you still never know what you're getting.

^ one thing about buying OEM though, the dealer has to stand by it. RIght now with my replica rims I have a company in the sky to talk to instead of bugging the dealership to fix the vibration problem regardless.

Have you tried having them balanced on a Hunter/Douglas 6000 something machine? It's something that applies roadpressure to the balancing. Also, you should look into hubcentric rings just in case since the wheels MIGHT not be hubcentric after all...they're only $10 from Les Schwab.
