Pics of my Carbon Black X5 30d MSport

I've had my Carbon Black X5 30d MSport for over a month now... options are listed in my sig. This forum has been a great source of info, so thanks to all! I thought it was time to share pics of my car...

I haven't detailed the car yet - waiting on supplies - so apologies if it's not quite up to standard. I will post pics of its first detail in this thread so these will make good "before" pics.

No mods at the moment except for window tint - Bolle MkII tint, windows 35%, and pano roof 20%. For next mods, thinking quad exhaust tips (flat or round...?), and some form of rear DVD entertainment system - haven't found one that I really like yet. The active headrests really get in the way of a good rear DVD system! Any suggestions for mods etc are welcome.

I love the color combo on your car. Very nice ride.. But what's the deal on the mudflaps?? It seems English and Australian people love mudflaps on their cars..

I didn't know that.. Is it an option to delete the mudflaps if you don't want them?

Can you show me your sun blinds? I'm thinking getting one of them instead of windows sox, but how much sun light does it block?

When I went to pick-up the car, the mudflaps were already supplied & installed "free" by the dealer. But I guess it would be possible to ask the dealer not to put them on.

I don't mind them... and it seems to be preventing chips/marks at the backsides of wheel arches, which some M-Sport owners in this forum have experienced.

I think it does a great job. Looks-wise it's definitely better than window sox. I'll take some pics and post here as soon as I can.

To me it looks like the unpainted surface of the mudflaps doesn't blend with the all-painted plastic trim - wheel arches (flares), bumper, side boards, etc.
I think BMW should provide painted mudflaps with the M-Sport package.

Btw, your car looks great!
