Sorry to add to the revival of an old thread but had a quick question. I was looking at some oem LCI tail lights for my 2008 x5 from a BMW dealer and they state that these lights do not need coding. I asked them to make sure and they confirmed. Everywhere else I read says the lights need to be coded. Is it possible that I can install these with out having to code them?

JSPDR has a method that doesn't require coding it seems, but if you go by the book, it does need coding
