just a thought could it be the battery? my steering angle sensor went off- they said it was receiving low voltage and a battery charge fixed it.


don't get me started on the random battery discharge thing.

the $$$$ bmw battery was replaced about 6 months ago and it looks like gainesville bmw will replace the sensor under the CPO. WOOOHOOO!

There's a guy on the e90 forum that fixed it by himself, I guess it should be similar on the e70.

Just did this 2000km ago, still good. Cleaned the disc and the clear plastic. Thanks for the link.

Had warning light on Active steering followed by DSC warning and 4x4 warning. Not always though, sometimes. But at least once everyday.

mine would reset for awhile then it just didnt work at all and the steering wheel would turn on its own while the car was driving straight. It was weird. My ext warranty covered it and it was a bout $800
