Did anyone figure out what was going on with this? My 2011 X5 passenger door lock is randomly not working when the handle is pulled.

Just like the original post, the electronics work completely fine and never fails to lock or unlock the door. It just concerns me when the mechanical part doesn't work. What if someone had to get out of the car fast and they couldn't manually unlock it?

Not cool!

I am also having this issue once in a while. The little stick starts to go up as the handle is pulled but sometimes goes right back down. This only happens on the passenger front door.
