Water Leak from headliner roof into cabin

Alright I think I ran into another maintenance work here. Took the X through the car wash with wife and kids in the vehicle. Water started to drip on my wife from the rear right headliner courtesy light area. As you can imagine it was quite shocking to know your vehicle is leaking water from a simple no touch car wash. I assume there is a clog in the drain somewhere so I searched the forums and only came up with this but no solution.

Anyone have experience this and have a solution or DIY. I can post another DIY but just needs some of the folks that has experience this before for their take. Thanks.

Had the same issue only the water came in through the front interior light near the rear view mirror. The sunroof drains were clogged up. Dealer blew them out and water tested when it was in for a scheduled maintenance appt. we also had this issue with my wife's 5er wagon with water coming in through the back caused by the same clogged drains. Good luck!

I had time to check today and able to locate the front sunroof drain. The rear however is not easily accessible. I have the Panoramic roof and the second glass does not retract all the way back to review the drain hole. The passenger Rear is where the water is leaking into the vehicle. Then I tried to tilt it upward, it only allowed for a few more inches but still do not review the drain. Can some advise or has unclogging the rear drain never been done outside of the dealers?!
