i stood there while the guy did it, it was his first x5 (but does 3 bmws per day) it took him 2 hours, and that was with us talking the whole time and with floor jacks $300 is the MOST id ever pay for a spring install. and yes you NEED to be re-aligned. I paid $125 for spring install and $85 for alignment. |

Thanks for confirming my suspicion! Did you get the alignment at p-boys too? Do you know if they need something special to adjust the toe and camber? My guy just looked at me and said it didn't pull to the left or right so it was all good; however I read on here it will kill the tire wear if you don't...

You got robbed indeed, I went with pep boys because my guy was busy. from my research they had about an average price, took the buy about 3 hours. Haven't done alignment yet because I waiting to do the spacers first, after that alignment.

After drop you may want to go thru dealer for aligment , a regular shop (pepboys, sears, etc) will tell you is "fine" or they cant do anything .
The front camber needs to be adjusted and they wont know how . Heres mine H&R 2" drop (2.75" reality) with self leveling (25mm spacers front and 30mm rear)
