I didnt want to be doin any stereo mods to a leased car but this DSP is the pits isn't it?
I ordered the premium radio package but i really think i should have saved my money
Any advice?

I think you're better off saving that $1200 and spend it on an aftermarket amp and sub upgrade

Basic set up is even worse. I don't get why BMW doesn't offer a better sound system.

i like the DSP sound...i can't remember how much it cost, but it wasn't that much...Personally, i like to stay stock with that kind of thing, but that's just me....I am a bit of an audiofile, and i love the "poppy" sound of the DSP...i don't really like heavy bass, so it suits me well

Sorry you feel it was a "waste"
