OK, thanks for trying it out, do you get 3-1/65 in the top right hand corner (of the setting) menu?

but apart from that
its identical as before

mine is an MK3,, is it 2D only?
so maybe thats why

anyone?
Maybe, I have modded both wide and split for the mk3, you won't have 3d (only 2d), maybe the 4:3 headunit uses a different rom_col setting, can you switch between split and wide?

Thanks for bringing new life to my 03 Navi - its looks great now.
The whole update process is really easy & I love the deep blue colors of the Night mode.
I know, I wanted the blue to be used for both day and night, but for reasons unknown, the wide wont take (the split will, so you can have that if you wanted).

I think I will be using it as my "main" mode
Quite a few have said that now.

Now I just need to learn how to change the splash screen...
Check out the navtweak thread

wow, that was allot of reading

I have one question - I loaded "updated" OS with my new splash screen, everything works fine but the splash screen wont come up when I open the car - the screen stays black/off untill I insert a key and start the car. As that moment I can see my new splash screen for a sec...

Do you know why its not comming up when I open the doors???

I noticed another interesting thing after updating- I got traffic info option in navigation menu before it wasn't there...I requested message list but got nothing.I can see TMC red letters on my screen.
Is it possible to make it work in US?

I don't think so, for the TMC to work you would need a TMC signal carrier, I don't really know that much about other countries implementation of TMC.

For it to work correctly, you need TMC enabled map disc and a radio station transmitting the TMC signal, the USA is huge so no singal station can do it.

Sorry guys...I did not refuse to help at least, before it will be free to download in every BMW community I wanted to make some money....do not hate me for that.

You guys may have noticed that you could make a lot of changes with the navtweak....but any changes you do...you can not see right away, you have to burn a cd and upgrade this to your computer.

I run the OS9000 from the MK4 on a virtual machine, so I can make changes right away, it is a very smooth way to work on the MK4 OS.

Soon I will offer this know how...how to run the OS9000 on a virtual machine aswell.

I have also noticed that some of my images are on ebay.....well...I do not care.......

Never said you did, I said "maybe that's why he didn't want to help." not the same as refused, but you didn't offer either, but that said I do I wish you luck with eBay etc.

I don't hate you mate, and it's no problem, I understand it's a lot of work to get right (I Know), I don't blame you for wanting a return on your effort, if people are willing to pay for it then good for you.

Indeed, I went through something like 15-20 cd images (more probably) to get it even close to what you had produced.

Doing it this way also make it take longer.

That would be fantastic mate, really a big step forward, I (and others) would really very much appreciate that.
