I used the link to download #1 from your original post. I would need a full image. Thanks very much for all of your efforts in providing a great update.

3: your sky and your splash.
4: version number changed to 10.03. (4-1/00).

So, rom_col, rom_col_1, rom_col_2 and rom_col_3 are all identical in every way.

I'll edit and post the link as soon as it's loaded on rapid share (it's really slow to upload there).

I've downloaded the first image and can't see anything obvious, but I'll re-make them up and post up a new set of links just in case, I'll do this on Monday, as my uplink speed is not to great.

BTW, yes CD-RW are fine, that's what I use (and DVD_RW for the maps are OK too.

Strange... NavTweak v 2.7 works fine for me when working with "poisoned" navboot.. ???

Confirmed CD RW+ is acceptable by the system.. and that encouraged me to do my own mods … but decided to consult you before I go ahead and ask about which menu exactly I should change in to get my favorite screen colors –since we agreed its up to everybody own taste- map colors I will not touch as I like it 100% from you, but still I don’t like the blue screen color so :
- Should I change in the menu highlighted below or somewhere else,
- Should these changes be reflected in all 11 cols or only one?
- I can see only widescreen , but what about split screen where is the color menu for that?

That is the correct menu item to edit, you need to change rom_col_2 (wide) and rom_col_3 (split), the others are for things like the mini etc...
