Single Serve Coffee Maker

OK, I convinced myself that I need a single serve coffee maker. I have been reading reviews at this website:

http://www.singleservecoffee.com/

They seem to like Bunn My Cafe, Keurig and Tassimo.

Do any of you guys or gals have one of these and what are your thoughts?

We use the nesspreso system and I have to say it is great. The coffee is held in pods so it does not deteriorate quickly and you can get lots of different types of coffee. I am in the UK.

i have the tassimo. it's pretty good, not awesome. i am partial to my cuisinart coffee maker and grinder, so i use that on the weekends. during the week i use the single cup (as i'm headed out the door). it's very convenient because i have to leave for work so early in the morning.

Two complaints: it is a lot louder than i expected, and the coffee pods aren't sold in many places...kind of a pain in the a$$ to have to go to bed bath and beyond for coffee.

I have the Senso... Have had it for almost a year - use it everyday and I like the coffee. So super easy. But I am SURE there are better tasting machines. This one was just cheap and easy.

But this is coming from a guy who loves Denny's coffee.

Got the Tassimo for my father for xmas so we drank a lot of Tassimo coffee that day. It is definitely neat and speedy. It was expensive. I think the coffee product is good, not great. I liked the latte, cappucino type products even less.

I would recommend going to http://www.coffeegeek.com/ and reading reviews as well.

I have the tassimo and it's fairly decent. It's quick and convenient. It is a PITA having to go to bed bath just to buy the coffee pods. Sometimes I have to go to 3 different bed bath's just to find it (since some places are sold out all the time ). I wish they had more coffee choices other than Gevalia. The cappucino is OK i guess. Hot chocolate doesn't taste good.

Thanks for all the responses so far.

Regarding the Tassimo - can't you buy the coffee pods online rather than running to Bed Bath & Beyond?

I don't like Pod Coffee Makers

Yes they are easy to use.

But I find that the coffee just does not taste as full body as when you use a drip maker.

I have a Mellitta two cup drip and like the taste of the coffee.

It only costs about $30.00 to buy and you don't have to use costly pods.

Try the Gaggio Titanium series. Fantastic.
Big reserve, the dredgedrawer needs emptying after 10 grindings, and she is oh so very very cool to touch and look.

Cheers,

ILLY Beans are best!
