FEATURES INTRODUCED WITH PRIOR NAVIGATION SOFTWARE V27
Only E46 (3 Series), E53 (X5), E83 (X3), E85 (Z4) with DVD-Top navigation system
Have just upgraded to V31. However, my disclaimer screen still requires a push of the knob to clear. Can anyone confirm that the disclaimer screen does actually disappear automatically? Thanks Colin. |

Yes it does, this was fixed a number of versions ago on my unit, though it seems quicker then 8 seconds. Are you sure you are waiting long enough for it to work.

The possibility of dual layer DVD function is interesting, but it would require a nav unit that physically has this capability. So I presume that it is something that will be possible on a future nav computer. Though it is curious as to why they would introduce it for a MK IV system that is non i-drive, since it is slowly (if not already) being phased out (or to use BMW's terminology, I understand introducing it for the NAVI03 system since that is i-drive based, but not the non i-drive "DVD Top-NAV" system).
No idea about the voice files. Quote:

Definitely waiting long enough. Still requires a button push to clear. Wouldn't have anything to do with regional settings would it? Colin. |
