If your mk4 has V30 loaded (4-1/91) then just go into the service menu and switch perspective view on.

If you have 4-1/70 or higher then you can have 3D perspectibe mode, to enable this, Perspective mode needs to be enabled in 2 places,

1: The hidden setup menu.

Go to the menu screen select set (or settings) and hold menu button for 10 seconds, when the hidden menu appears scroll down untill the perspective mode option is selectable.

2: In the arrow map pointing menu.

Select GPS-Navigation, then Map, then push right button, select Map Positioning and there select Perspective

Hope this helps

I installed the V31 disc and I believe the number on my screen says 4/1/00...any ideas why? I'm not seeing perspective mode.

Because you now have the latest 4-1/100 software version installed. Exactly as it should be. the software can only display the last 2 digits, the 1 from 100 canot be shown.

Switch it on. Enable it first in the Service Menu (last menu option on 2nd screen) and then switch from North Up to Perspective Mode on the display mode of the map
