This confirms the rumour that V31 had some problems !! It will be interesting to see what nav system they have updated...

Indeed, I've had no problems so far other than nav system reboots because the navboot file was to large, (now sorted).
Wonder what the bugs are?? Well done jochen, over a 1000 posts

Issues: v31 seems much slower to start-up and to read the nav disk. Changes to scale take about twice as long as before to redraw the screen maps. A directed journey sometimes crashes - the maps continue to be drawn correctly as is the position of the car but the direction instructions (visual and spoken) and the ETA etc are all lost. Reboot via ignition solves this. I suspect there may be issues reading single layer DVD's (we know v31 includes dual layer support) but could be anything I suppose. Cleaning the DVD or reverting to an older 2007 version (all backup copies) makes no difference. Anyone have v32 yet? |
