How about that so-called "significant part" the media wants you to think exists just convert to being dems like they truly are. Anyone who backed Obama CAN NOT call themselves a republican or conservative. This whole shift to moderate is a joke. The Dems don't every shift or try to "reach across the aisle" like McCain campaigned on. They shouldn't have to. Neither should republicans. The country can't benefit from semi-left and far left. There needs to be some conservative balance in there!

We need another Reagan, not a McCain. We saw where that got us...a big LOSS and now the dems control everything. I figure they can blame Bush for at least 20 years though, since that's what they're so good at.

"The 'current' government has perhaps created the perfect scenario for the government to come to the rescue with trillions of tax dollars to solve the misery. Consequently, the government is the only entity able to solve the problem because they can print money, or borrow it from China or some other country." Jim Threlkeld

yeah definitely another reagan...because our modern american capitalist
economic system
presumes that the financial sector will be bailed
on on

Not according to Powell. He said the he has always voted/endorsed whomever he thought was the best person for the job, but that he's still a Republican.

He's a big gov't republican (although most seem to be these days). Ultimately, both the republicans and democrats don't understand the constitutional, limited role of Federal Gov't.
Bring back Ron Paul.

They understand it, they just disagree as do most Americans (these people are ELECTED).

Ask any person you meet on the street, odds are they know more about a reality show than what goes on in D.C. or the Constitution.
