DVD Stuck - MKIV DVD

Hi,

I have a DVD stuck in my MKIV player. The screen says "no CD/DVD..." On some home CD/DVD players there is a "pinhole" that allows you to eject the media but I can't find one on the MKIV? Any advise/tricks?

Thank you...

OB.

Try holding down the disk eject button for a period of time. If that doesn't work then have someone hold down the eject button while you turn the key on. If that doesn't work, remove the cables from the back of the unit and then put them back on while holding down the eject button. Hopefully one of these tricks will work.

another option...reach behind the DVD player...unplug the top connector...wait 5 seconds and plug it back in. Then hit the eject button. Also...if you are going to burn DVD copies ...use CDClone...its the only one I have found that works.

I have been and continue to be a huge fan of CloneCD, but for reference I was able to make a good backup copy using Nero Ultimate Suite as well.
