Newbie on the forum....pics of my ride

Well guys, I'm a newbie here but not new to the X5. This is my 2nd one and my dad is expecting delivery of his 2nd during first week of September. [Carbon black 4.8...blows me out of the water]

I just figured I'd show you guys some pics of the ride, 2004 4.4. I definitely have the mod itch after reading the forums here for a couple days and I look forward to being a member for a long time. This forum is a resource that's second to none.

So, a question for the experts, what should be the first mod?

Your first mods should be
alum. running boards,
clear bra(to save the paint from winter salt etc)and
M3/M5 steering wheel.

Is the carbon black 4.8 individual ($2500) optoin?

Yea. Since it's the build-out year of the current body styile X5, all 2006 models have the option of "M" colors: Carbon Black Metallic, Interlagos Blue Metallic, Titanium Silver Metallic, Silver Grey Metallic, Imola Red, and I think Mystic Blue.

Where would I get my hands on a pair of Euro headlights? After looking at some of your rides, I think I'm definitely going to do the M3/M5 wheel, Alum Running Boards, Star Spoke 87s, and the euro headlights.

They have not listed the colors on their website yet.

You can get the clear headlights on Ebay from Roveractive

Yea I know they havent. My dad didn't believe the salesman when he was telling him Carbon Black was available. I think Carbon Black is one of the most beautiful colors BMW, or any manufacturer for that matter, has put on a vehicle.

What's the best place to get the clear bra?
