RaceMesh Custom Grills

There has been several comments regarding mesh grills. Due to some issues with a local distributor whom I will not mention, I called the manufacuter directly. I can tell you that after seeing the product first hand at my local BMW and Lexus dealership, this is bar none the best BMW mesh grill on the market...

I want to replace the kidney, lower air intake and upper hood grills with mesh that is color matched titanium silver. I spoke to the owner and while he does not have a specific E53 product today, he will add it if there is interest. So is anyone interested?

Not sure if I'd like this mesh style. I think the OEM grill looks good as is, imho.

tacky garbage. don't mess with the bmw trademark, dude. makes it look like a GMC truck, and not a bentley.

I agree, it will look stupid. And how will you open the hood?

Ive seen on the E46 people painting the grill the same colour as the car but this only really looks good if its black with blacked out windows IMHO.

I think the factory plastic mesh grills in the bumper would look great replaced with the real thing - but not the other pieces...

Monkey and others, we may have to agree to disagree regarding the kidneys but the plastic mesh in the bumper and hood have to go.

I think it looks really bad.. I happen to love BMW grilles the way they are.

There is a guy from Hawaii who had something like that on his X5 and it looked a little strange because of the big hole the driver's side grille required to access the hood latch. It'll look silly. I think it would make the front of the X5 look like a pig with two mesh nostrils flaring.

I painted my OEM grille Steel Gray to match the rest of the X.
