Refridgerator mod

I was wondering if anyone has ever put a refridgerator mod in there x5. I saw it on some website where it was installed in the rear armrest well. I cant seem to track down the site so any info is appreciated.

I notice that my center console heats up/cools down depending on what I have set on the HVAC system. I'm sure it's because the rear ducts go by the box, but I'm not sure if the heating/cooling of the box is intentional. Anyone know (or notice?)?

i noticed that there are tiny vents in the center console compartment

but not sure how it's controlled. i know in the e90, there's an on off switch...but i think that just may be cooling
