Hands down without a doubt 110%...no questions asked.....

...and I have posted this time and time again in mnay threads......the best aftermarket Headlight set up out there is from dave G at

www.customangeleyes.com / www.angelibrite.com

contact him and tell him what you want.... the pics on the website are an old solution the new solutiion which I have is AWESOME! yes yes ....it costs more..as that is always the arguement I get...but it looks HAAAWT!! a bunch of us at the tristate meet got to see the solution and they all gave me the Thumbs up!

hope this helps....I too looked at the p53....the CAA Solution looks like OEM on top of it...not cheap aftermarket affect!

I agree with richrich, custom angel eyes are top notch. They are pricey but they are definitely the best...They look amazing..

Well, for the benefit of doubt, I wasn't going to post this publicly until I confirm my case is solved (or not!). But since you mentioned it....

I'm having exactly the same experience with umitza, they send me the same cheap crap and I was almost fooled too. Not only it's look and build quality are completely out of place, it started to fog and have water condensation; both of the AE on one passenger side dropped hanging after a week; and the light pattern was the wrong side of the road;... not to mentioned that they had shipped the headlights without the harness.

After all the ding-dong-ding-dong, they said (more than 3 weeks ago) they would send me the replacement that is exactly what it should be... then they pushed for a week because the replacement they got were broken and had to order from Taiwan.. then last week they asked to push for another 2 weeks because they had to order from Europe in order to get the ones with correct pattern... bla bla bla.

So hear I am with the X5 looking so stupid... having fogs and water dropping on one side, and having the AE rings hanging on the other... oh and while driving back home this evening, I got stop by the police who issued me a ticket for driving without the proper lights (the pattern)

That's some BS they gave you. Just ask to return or file dispute with your credit card company and let them handle it. They promised you a product but sent a different one. That's fraud and you can bring them to small claim court. If they cannot resolve it immediately, they shouldn't give you hard time returning that junk back.

im sorry to hear about your bad experience, simoncpw. it is truely amazing how they try and get away with this. I am not surprised your having water problems with the headlight; in fact, any problem would not surprise me. they are just so cheap its unbelievable. I hope you are able to resolve your issue :-\. I just dropped mine off at USPS today. Their shipping label didn't even cover the correct amount!! But the lady said I didn't have to worry about the difference she would bill it to them . Once again..good luck to you. If I were you I would not exchange, but return for a full refund. Their housings lack any quality.

And richirich I had a question for you about customangeleyes. I've been looking at them since yesterday (members pictures, their website) trying to decide whether they are worth the price or not. i need a new housing i guess since the glass on mine is faded/heavily chipped (cannot find anywhere that just sells a new cover). so are they realy worth over 1300? And as for the quality of the housing, would you say they are well built (solid, high quality, doesn't leak). And final question, will they work with the factory auto leveling xenon system? sorry for all the questions..and thanks in advance

mtx5..they're actual OEM headlights...Highest quality available period. What they do is they take a pair of OEM ones and recondition them (with the obvious mods, AE's, clear lens, etc) and then ship them to you to match your specific needs. If you got the $$, its the highest quality you'll ever recieve.. Without question.. I'm sure rich will chime in here soon and agree..

interesting.. because i just got off the phone with dave from angelibright and he sounded like they might sometimes use Depo housings. I'm waiting for him to send me more information via email/get back to me. but thanks primetime for the info! I just want to be 200% sure before I make another purchase. Don't want to deal with another experience such as this one
