Auxiliary Heating

Not long now until I take delivery...and have a question about the remote/auxiliary heating.

Is there any audible or visual indicator that the auxiliary heating has switched on after you press the remote? For example, if you lock the vehicle you can have it flash the turn signals...so can you set it up to do something similar for the auxiliary heating remote?

Anyone know the answer/options?

Cheers

When the auxilary ventilation is on, theres a very small LED fan by your right nob on your gps, it blinks red when the ventilation is on.

Good question. When using the remote, the green light on the remote stays on for about 3 secs confirming it is in range. If it gives you a few short flashes, it means you are out of range.
Inside the X, you also have the tiny red flashing lamp in a shape of a fan on the right side of the Navi system (under the "menu" button") indicating that the aux heater has been activated.
You'll find all the info in the manual.

So, did it come with the car? or an option.

The aux. heating/ventilation was an option and the remote came with it. I guess the remote comes standard with the option

We get aux ventilation option here too, but our remote does not look like that.
