e70 Wheel bore size
Anyone know what the e70 wheels bore size is? Trying to find a suitable winter wheel for e70. The older style 74 (x5) wheels do not fit.

I have an answer: e70 bore size 74.1
e53 bore size 72.56

Looks like BMW went out of their way to make the new hub a tiny bit larger so the old wheels wouldn't fit. Shouldn't be too hard for a machine shop to take off a little of that extra aluminum from the old wheels though. Of course, then BMW could disavow any responsibility for their performance.
