Nothing visible except where it plugs into the lighter. Not the best install but nothing permanent and nothing that the dealer could say would void the warrant. That's my biggest concern, have some expensive electrical problem and the dealer say the radar detector wiring caused it.
If you use an "add a circuit" fuse it should not void any warranty. We just need to find the fuse for the cig lighter.

The front passenger fuse box contains lower amp fuses towards the front of the panel (near firewall) 7.5 A-10A, so I think one of those fuses must be for the aux and cig lighter. They are also the mini fuse type while all others are the regular size.

Good news and bad news. The good, I found the cig fuse. The bad news is it is in the rear box. Cig fuse is #111 in the rear panel. 20 A fuse. However, if you still need to access the power from the cig lighter up front you can still tap into the back of the lighter under the console. In the passenger footwell the upper trim panel along the side of the console is removeable by removing the front screw up near the firewall with a torx bit, I think it was #20. Starting at the front (firewall) pull gently outward to pop out the plastic plug fasenters. There are two plastic fastners that hold the trim panel on, one is about a third of the way down the panel and the other is about 2/3 down the panel and two metal clips at the rear. Next, once the two plastic fasteners are out slide the panel towards the front. There are two clips at the rear of the panel that hold it in place once you slide forward the clips will release. Once the panel is off you will see a white wire harness conector pretty well next to where the lighter is situated. This is coming from out of the back of cig lighter. There are three wires. Use a voltmeter to test which wire has power. Once you know which wire is which you can tap the wire. It is fairly simple about 10 minutes. Just be carefull not to pull the panel to hard this may break the plastic plugs. The panel is just flexible plastic covered with carpet. To replace the panel do the opposite. Try to attach the top rear clip first I found it easier, the bottom clip will latch easily. You may have to push the panel in with a little force to engage the clips when replacing the panel.

I hope this may help someone.
