I PICKED UP MY 2008 X5(W/PIX)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I'm the first one who got 2008 model!!!!!   Compare to 4.4i which I had before, BMW did a really good job on suspension. Active ventilated seat is absolutely comfortable. Rearview camera & HUD are really convenient. I hope the pictures can help for those considering black/black/bamboo combination.

Yes, I have Active Steering. Handling is really smoother and nicer! Auto H indicates "Auto holding". Your car never move unless you step on the gas pedal while waiting for signal or in the middle of traffic jam. After I got used to it, it was really convenient.

Well... honestly I'm not sure but I'm guessing it's standard on 08 models.
It was some sort of surprise feature. My dealer even didn't know what that was. He looked up the manual and told me how to use it.
