aerokit installation charges

Hello!
I'm planning to get aerokit for my 08 x5 4.8. How much is a decent price labor (painting and installation) for this kit and other that dealer, where to get it. Thanks

You can purchase the kit at morristownbmw or if you have a friend at your local dealer to hook you up in price. I paid $1400.00 painted and installed for mine and that included removing/painting all plastic trim pieces, front and rear bumper, and rocker panels. Don't forget to post pictures when it's completed.

$2300 with part/paint/install here. It was the cheapest I could find around here from a BMW shop. I've heard as low as $1800 total as the most common but in the other thread (upgraded 3.0si) he only paid $1500.

Paint my aerokit for less than $500. Install myself, about an hour

Was it difficult? I imagine it's just either bolting the kit to the existing bumper or drilling some holes for rivits.

The kit come without instruction but it was pretty easy to install.

Pretty much can be divided into the gray primed parts (to be painted), the black plastic mounting harness and the self tapping screws (no rivet and/or adhesives are used).

You mount the black plastic harness to the plastic bumper using the self tapping screws. The painted parts basically mount to the black plastic harness.

You just have to be careful when initially mounting/locating the black harness making sure that they are in the correct location.

I am in SoCal so if anybody in the area need any help just let me know

Wow for 2300 you might as well go aftermarket like AC Schnitzer or Hamann

Thanks!

Do you have any close up pics of the installation or mounting brackets?
