We always find more dirt and grime on tires even after hitting them with a brush and apc.... what we do is hit them up with Stoner's Tarminator and a MF Towel, take a look at what we were able to pull off.

Holly Cow! The stuff that dealer used must have a lot of filler material in it. He did the right thing by bringing his car to you guys. Great job.

Wow Phil what a beautiful restoration of a classic E39, so glad you were able to bring it back to showroom condition, I'm sure you all had heart attacks when it pulled up!

Phil I just tried this over the weekend with my wife's tires, even after scrubbing 3 times with APC and a brush/sponge they were still brown!

I waited till the tires were mostly dry and took a couple of my Costco special MF towels (36ct for 17 bucks sorry Phil that they aren't Ubers, but they are my throwaways I keep just for these kind of jobs, with all the grime on there its cheaper to just toss them after than to throw them in the wash and waste Micro-Restore on them, I wouldn't use my Uber plush or Uber Ultra microfibers for this) with some TARMINATOR, and scrubbed off the grime, tires looked new again! I had to use 2 towels for the 4 tires and the towels were completely black when I was done!

For anyone who's tires may have been neglected recently, try some Tarminator first. Remember, a good dressing like Super VRT is only going to be as good as the prep work cleaning the tires beforehand!
