Until it didn't as these codes started popping up again. "Fuel trim bank 1/2, permissible range exceeded" I sitll don't know what that means and seems like nobody else does either based on my searches.

So, gonna try the following:

• Clean IAC again and goddam I hate getting that thing out and back in. Cut my arms up bad. The old rubber snout thing was still in good shape, so I didn't replace it.
• Ensure no vacuum or air leaks, check all plumbing for cracks.
• Replace CCV (I have a new one sitting in a box because it looks like a pain in the ass to replace without pulling the intake which I def do NOT want to do)
• Replace O2 sensors. What should the voltage on these be reading? I have OBD Fusion and a bt interface that will show the sensor voltages. Pretty sure they're original.

So, quite often I was getting the long been and flashing PDC button. Turns out the culprit was water on driver side floor.

Aside from the kinked tube (fixed that by taping a hard plastic straw to encase the tube) the tube run at the top should be tucked ABOVE the airbag screw) otherwise placing it below the screw will cause a pinch and reduce the water drain flow. This explains why my floor stays dry in normal rain conditions but got wet during heavy down pour.

After repositioning the tube run and fixing the kink problem and vacuuming the car, the carpet seemed dry. PDC kept periodically erroring.

There was residual water (a lot) under the carpet, did not feel wet at top of carpet. Vacuumed all the water out from underneath the carpet, kept carpet lifted with a dehumidifier in the car for a couple of days.

The PDC has since not errored at all. It has been a few months with many heavy rains and car washes. Coincidence? Maybe! but I did nothing other than resolve the water leak and thoroughly dry the car. Rear right actuator, makes a faint noise like it's trying to do something however the result is
When locking door (central locking or key fob) the actuator unlocks
When unlocking it unlocks
When using key fob, it unlocks on first click (along with driver door) passenger doors should wait for double clicks to unlock

not sure if it is the actuator itself or GM

the actuator plug has 7 pins, labelled 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 don't know which is ground or expected function and voltage of each, so it's getting difficult to diagnose

any thoughts or experience please share.

So I'm thinking about new techniques. The challenge is the foam under the fabric is degraded, nothing will stick and it's hard to scrape it clean.

I'm considering taking a tube of construction adhesive, putting it onto a masons hawk and using a spackle knife to spread it and reglue the fabric. I'll try and go a few inches at a time.

Any other ideas or thoughts on this one. I can't seem to push anything into the ceiling of the car like a tack or staple. Not a big deal as I am replacing both cv axles and ordered a new support carrier with the bearing, o-ring and seal included. Why would the bearing stick or seize to the axle? The axle was a GSP and I ordered the same as replacements. Would it be the axle tolerance to the bearing or just old stuff sticking? It doesn't sound like rod knock as it only happens while the engine is warm after several minutes of driving. The source sounds more like plastic knock or rattle if you will. On a cold start the noise is not even there at all.

One thing I should mentioned as I did rebuild my DISA with the rebuild kit from GermanAutoSolutions. While assembling things back together there a a bit of a drag in the flap retracting when testing the diaphragm. Could this be a DISA valve issue? Any Ideas? I'm kind of freaking out right now.

I originally thought that I had cooked the electronics so I replace it with the one from the used transmission that I got and get the same error. Since I keep hearing that it has to be coded, I had someone virginize it and code it (took almost two hours) remotely. Start the car and get exactly the same error. The only I didn't replace are the solenoids. Tested resistance and they are all within specs.
I have put about 5 quarts of oil but since it won't go into gear I can finish the filling procedure.
Anyone out there had this happened to them? I just ordered a set of ZF solenoids to replace then anyway but I even took the transmission to a person that builds ZF for modified engines and he said all of the mechanical work was ok. He didn't had a way to check the electronics.
Ideas?
