Steering Wheel Cover Removal

I have a non-sport steering wheel. Do I need to disconnect anything to remove the cover where the airbag is, such as a fuse?? I am working on the roundel on the steering wheel and would like to get to the back of this cover.

How do I remove it??

The first 5 items on the home page in the INTERIOR section provide some guides on steering wheel removal and modifications. My advice is any time you are working around an airbag it is advisable to remove the power. Simply remove one of the terminals from the battery and you are all set to work on it.

Thanks!! Last thing I want is to throw an airbag code or worse have the bag blow up in my face.

This is no joking stuff. It could kill you. Disconnect the battery, pull the fuse, handle the thing carefully, like a grenade, because that's basically what it is.
