DIS service program allows you to lower the vehicle?
i was reading this and i was thinking..does DIS service program allows you to lower the vehicle without paying for springs for your suspension? i have no clue |

Well, here's the deal: unless you have Ride Height Adjustable suspension (standard on the 4.8is), you are going to at the very least need lowering springs up front. The next question is what year 3.0i do you have and is it a sport package model? Only in 2001, the 3.0i Sport got self-leveling rear suspension standard. Every other year, it was an option, 3.0i sport or non-sport. The 4.4i always has had the rear self-leveling suspension standard.
If you don't have self-leveling rear or ride height adjustable suspension, you're going to have to lower the vehicle by getting lowering springs. |

I've lowered my rear height by DIS to match with front height which was lowered by H&R springs.
I'm pretty sure that you can lower the rear by DIS but not sure for the front. |

its a 2003 3.0i
meh it isnt a sport package and i dont even know if it has air-rear suspensions or not o_O i guess ill just go check it out at bmw this friday when i get it in for inspection/repair |

Look in the spare tire compartment
if there is a large heavy tank under the tire with hoses going back to tanks on the left and right then you have the air suspension |

yep.. what wuzin said...
the pump looks like this. notice the red and blue lines on the passenger side... that goes to each sides air suspension bags. |
