Angel Eyes all the time

does anyone know how to rig the angel eyes to be on all the time when the vehicle is running. I have read all the posts about it but can't seem to find anything. is there anything in the engine bay itself i could tap into without bringing the wires to where the fuses are. Please help

Depends on the year of your X and what kind of AE kit you have. Mine is 2002 the AE kit has a + and a - , running from each ring, so I wired the +'s to ECU box...see below, and negatives to the body. The tapped wire is hot when you turn your ignition key in position I. ... so your eyes will be on all the time.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
I tapped into that same wire for mine, but not to directly power the ballasts, just to activate the relay to power the ballasts.

Connecting the ECU power to the relay is the preferred method. It isolates the ballast from your ECU. You don't want a ballast malfunction to knock out your ECU.

Gixxerboy63,
when you are facing the vehicle, on the left back corner of the engine bay, U will find all the relays and so forth. You need to take off the platic cover near the cabin filter, then you will see this

I understand where the wiring is located in the engine compartment and can identify the one dipicted in the photograph. My question; If I connect the pos lead of the angle eye wiring to the wire identified in the photograph, would this connection be inline with the relay (preferred) or would it be connected directly to the ECU?
Thanks

That would be direct to ECU. You can have a relay between the wire in the pic and your ballasts. I didn't use a relay. So far so good, but I have to aggree with Weasel and Rayxi, a relay makes it safer.
