exhaust/intake video online!! (scroll down for link)

Hey everyone-

So my buddy and I *FINALLY* got around to installing my intake today. I'm pleased to say that it was STUPIDLY easy lol ... took us about 20 mins. I didn't bother resetting the ECU, I'll just let the car recalibrate itself over the next 50 miles or so. Also, as for that little hose thing that I was trippin so much about, I just decided to leave it dangling around there ... it's a rather rigid hose so it pretty much stays in the same location it was when it was plugged into the airbox: so now it pretty much just sits next to the intake filter.

Anyway, I *WILL* put installation pix up soon along with the long-promised SOUND clips of the install!!

But, last night turned *VERY* spontaneous: we ended up driving down to Rosarito at 10 PM and didn't return home till 6 lol ... so forgive me if i'm a little slow in putting the files up lol

Check back here soon!!

P.S. the sound clips are recorded from a semi-pro vidcam so the audio quality is PHENOMENAL espeically if you have a sub attached ... yes, the exhaust note is *LOW*

ok everyone, sorry about the delay, but here's the video as promised!! i suggest you turn up your speakers and your subwoofer if you wanted the closest approximation of how the thing sounds in person ... also, let me know if you would like vids of the interior engine bay to see/hear the intake running (sucking?!... in a good way! ) as i totally forgot to do that

well the setup is totally custom, and as i mentioned in another post, i got this cat-back setup from another guy who needed a stock setup put back on. so we just traded. i had only to pay $100 for the install. a bit pricey for a mere installation you may think? *shrugs* i didn't think so, and consider this:

(1) it's AAA Muffler, at La Cienga and Venice -- the same shop that did Shaq's ride and pretty much ALL the high rollers of LA lol

(2) they custom-made it for the dude i got it from and it was a $1200 job (note: between this guy and his biz partner, they've got an F430, a GT2, SL55, a few others i can't remember, and one of the guys is trying to put a down payment on the forthcoming Audi R8)

(3) it's their custom setup that they put on all 745s and Ranges

These guys also did the work on my Mustang almost five years ago.

If you phone or go there, ask for PEPE. This guy knows his stuff
