To all of you who have been wondering, I finally have the information regarding my custom exhaust made at AAA Muffler at San Vicente and Venice: The muffler is a Japanese product called JKL. It's "custom built." And again, the total cost plus install was $1200. That is, I'm afraid, the extent of my knowledge, well, along with this: http://www.autodirectsave.com/Mufflers_exhaust.asp Press CNTRL-F to find the following text: RS-SL15 -- I'm PRETTY sure those are mine. They certainly look like it. NOTE: I'll be taking a video clip one of these days from inside the car as I drive past a wall at full throttle: the sound in the previous video doesn't begin to do justice to what the throbbing REALLY sounds like

And again, in cased you missed it before- it's the same custom job that's used on the new 7 and Range Rovers.

Interesting. Can you post some pics of the underside and how it mates to your existing system? I'm not sure if you got just the mufflers or the mufflers and the pipes back to the cat.

Sure, I'll try and maybe take some pix tomorrow. But I can answer your question: it's the full cat-back setup.

ok so ... um ... little problem ...
so i dunno WHY canon doesn't realize that the LCD screen on their ELPH cameras *NEEDS* to have a protective plastic cover ... this is the second or third one that's cracked just by being in my pocket!! considering that it's a "pocket camera," this seems to be a severe engineering oversight. in any case, thank goodness i got this last one from costco heh ... the point is, i can try to "blindly" snap some pix and hope they come out, in which case i'll post them here. i'll be getting a new camera in a few weeks after finals. also, i can promise to upload a new vid clip showcasing the sound of the exhaust as it bounces off a wall ... AMAZING sound

Drive one side of the truck up a driveway a little (paralell to the sidewalk) to get some elevation and give you some more room to take pic's.

NEW CLIP: www.intriciti.com/temp/x5exhaust2.wmv
As you know, even a semi-pro camera's built in mic can't produce exactly "what you hear." I tried tweaking the EQ in Premiere Pro, but I'm not good enough with audio editing to make it sound any better. The point is, that "flapping/ticking" sound you hear is actaully what makes the thing sound so amazing in real life, where it comes across as more of a deep THROBBING sound -- honestly, if you've ever heard some of the newer S4 Audis or AMG Benzes, it sounds like that
