Which fuses stay powered for 15 minutes after ignition is turned off?

From what I understand, most fuses are either powered all the time, or switched with the ignition. Are there some that stay powered for a few mintutes after the car is turned off?

I've noticed that the LED on the gear stick stays lit for only ~15 minutes after the car is shutoff. I'd like to tap into this LED so that I can keep a gizmo powered for only ~15minutes after the car is shutoff and then it would turn off automatically.

Thanks

I spent 45 minutes closed in my cars measuring each fuse before and after the LED shuts off. The answer is that "NO fuses turns off after 15 minutes", they all are on the same way before and after all the light shut off automatically.

Could be a capacitor that discharges down while lighting up the led.

I think it's 20 minutes. That's why the ipod kits like DICE and BlitzSafe claim "charges your iPod for an additional 20 minutes after the car is off.." it's because the power in the car stays on for 20 extra min. the light on the gear shift puzzled the ppl i brought to check drain on my batt too. But it does go off. Next time you go to your car before you open it, look for the light, it won't be on. Something like the cigarette lighter will stay on forever if u have something plugged in.

curious - what are u trying to plug in for an extra 20 min?

There are a few X5's in this forum that the Led light stays on all the time (including mine).
Some system stays in awake mode for some reason, maybe only on the older models.

I asked the same question before, but I got no answers, maybe I'll start unplugging the Pod when the car sits for a while.
