Found the rattle in the back.

Finally found it. Creaking / plastic rattle noise in the rear. As suggested earlier I took off the top cover to the rear spoiler - a handfull of Torx screws. What I found was the rubber tubing to the rear window washer was just the right length so that it draped inside the spoiler so that it was just touching the lower panel. Over small bumps it was basically 'tapping' on the plastic lower panel. A loop of double sided tape around the tubing so that it sticks to the lower panel and no more noise! Happy!!!!!!!!

I resolved the vibration/rattle noise that I was complaining about for a while, but I still have an annoying 'clunk' eminating from the hatch - but interestingly only on certain types of bumps.
I moved the Sirius antenna to the roof spoiler yesterday, and verified that it's definitely not coming from anywhere in there... so I'm pretty convinced that it has to be the hatch closure itself. But I'm not sure where (?)
I tried the popular adjust-the-bump stops-out trick (which seemed to help a little), and even the felt pad-on-the-bump stops trick (which didn't seem to make any difference at all), but nothing made the clunk go away completely. And the further the bump stops are adjusted out, the more rough the hatch release is... (with the stops adjusted way-out, when I hit the hatch release button, it sounds like it going to rip the catch off the back)

I think I've tried just about everything - does anyone have any other ideas on what could be causing the hatch to clunk on certain types of bumps?

yeah I agree with you. I think its the latch itself. what i will do is driving on an open field with the truck open to see if the noise goes away. i dont know if this would work or not. What do u think?

Definitely give that a try...
The other day I threw a blanket over the tailgate, and shut the hatch on top of it (so that it stayed closed, but didn't latch). I then headed down the road to a bump that produces the clunk EVERY time - but this time it didn't.
So the clunk is definitely coming from somewhere in the hatch assembly... but I'm really not sure where

Anyone else with this clunk noise that only happens occasionally?
