Rear Sun Shades for a BMW X5

how the hell do u install these (not to sound stupid but why do i have a feeling im missing something, they come with velcro tabs but do those stick onto the windows or not? the dealer is supposed to print out something from a cd but guess what they didnt. so far i am not too pleased with pacificbmw service for parts they forgot one part, its taking nearly a month to get my running boards delivered (2 weeks b4 they ship the dam things and another 10 days for delivery) and my profile 2000 is broke (possibly ups)

I have OEM BMW shades on my Bimmer the velcro has held up pretty well! The rear sunshade is a bit of problem every now and then.

You have to stick the velcro pads on to the windows. You can cut them to make them less noticeable from the outside. The side rear shades are a tight fit and some of us who fitted them have not found it necessary to even use the velcros. The rear shade you use 6 velcros and it will be ok.Had mine fitted over a year and they never came off....
My windows do not have the privacy glass so the 3 rear shades are one of my favourite mods as it gives the rear windows the black tinted look...

Have a friend hold the rear shade in place, then mark with tape where the velcro on the shade touches the glass, then apply the adhesive backed velcro tabs on to the glass below where you marked with the tape. The rear quarter sunshades do not need velcro, they are a very snug fit.

ya those are a more or less snug fit the rear on isnt, but on each one of them theres a piece of velcro that just hangs is that like the pull piece in case you want to take it off you just pull on it?

i have the weather pkg so i have the sunshades on the rear door and thought these extra 3 would b nice and since i have the tinted glass from factory with that pkg as well, it looks nice and dark now i just gotta tint the front to match

Yes, those are pull tabs to aid in removal.
