Spring Cleaning and 87s on the 4.6is ***PICTURES***

Since my car is in for service, i spent this beautiful weekend detailing and "dewinterizing" my moms 4.6is. I was able to get the front two 20s on no problem, but for some reason when i went to the rear,my jack just didnt go high enough. time for a new jack!. So i had to drive to a shop a mile away for them to put the two rears on. my question is was that a bad idea since the car is AWD? driving on two front wheels that are different size than the rear?

anyway here are some before and after pics

If it was just a mile away, shouldn't be a problem. Summer set up on 20"s are the best. I luv the 87s.

I just swapped to my 20s. A tip for the rear swap: Raise the rear end using a hydraulic jack, no need to jack it up super high. Place a jack stand to prop up the rear end and remove the hydraulic jack. Now move the hydraulic jack under the wheel carrier and jack it up to get the hub high enough to install the wheel. Then do the reverse to lower the wheel and wheel carrier, then raise the car back up from jack point to remove the jack stand.

Very fun to drive. I've had it all weekend. I drove to the shore and wow, what a blast on the parkway.
