Great Photos

Very nice looking X5!

Still wish we had the same interior option Camel/Black here in the US.

Congratulations!

Beautiful X, I love the new interior, minus the third row, but I still think they could have made the exterior more exciting.

Gorgeous drive !

Few questions:

1. Is that sport package or standard 18 inch wheels?..Cannot decide if 18's look slightly small for the X5?

2. Is this camel darker than beige? I have a 2006 330i that has beige interior and already colour from my black coat is coming off onto seats so shows up easily......is this a colour that is better at hiding marks, dirt etc?

3. If you dont have sport, hows the ride?....

4. I notice you have premium comfort seats , so I assume you have the listed "light package" which are lights in interior door handles....do these stay on at night when driving on inside to give a warm orange glow all round vehicle?

5. Do the rear seats recline or slide back??

6. Are those all weather tires and are they standard??

Thanks for your help and enjoy your ride..... !

First of all the wheels are the standard 18 inch, which came with bridgestone dueller tires, instead of the michelin that i was hoping for.

Yes those are the confort seats and camel is a bit darker than beige, the rears seat SLIDES and RECLINES( a great feature).

there are lights on the outisde ......they light up when you unlock or lock the doors from the remote and stay on for a little bit longer.there are some orange glowing lights inside but i will have to double check to see where they are positioned.

I really haven't driven the car much so i can't tell you how it rides, but i find it stiffer than the MDX we use to have.

Only thing i don;t like compared to the old X5 is that the new one looks a bit feminin, not as tough looking as the old one. The 6 cylinder up to now feel feels sufficient, however i'm still in the breaking in period.

ohh did i mention i have the 3rd row seats...........they are kind of small but work great to put my younger sister in. She fits perfectly in there and she's 10

more info and pics to come soon

dont you get headlamp washers with the activity package that includes the running boards?? or did u get the boards separately?

Finally is the bluetooth functionality working or just pre wire for Canada?

Thanks in advance

yeah actually i do get the headlight washers with the package, bluetooth works. Thing that pissed me off is that the cd changer is an option , u only get a single cd ........... COME ON i had an IN DASH 6 cd in my 03 MDX , atleast include a changer. SO i called the dealer to install a changer they tell me they tried on another X5 and couldn;t do it and that they would update me when they had that fixed.

i also find the steering thickness to be nice, however the actual ring is kind of soft not as firm as i would like.

I-drive : what;s funny about the i-drive is that when i finally got use to the one on my dad's 750li , they go and change it , now i have to get use to the on the X.

If you dont have Adpative Drive, is there anything you regret about not having it, or is handling just fine and you feel like you are stuck to the road anyway...in Canada its a separate option to buy at $4700 !!! So I wanted to establish the need for this option first....and then decide on Sport or Non Sport.
