NavCoder 2.0.17 released

Oops - NavCoder v2.0.16 had a couple of bugs - one of which prevented language coding from happening

So I've fixed them, thanks to everyone's feedback.

NavCoder 2.0.17 is a bug fix for:
Fixed bug in Nav language coding
Improved Nav language coding error reporting
Improved ibus error reporting
Fixed bug when no com ports present on PC
Workaround added for nav units that don't respond to Read Memory command

Looks awesome, Unlocking the TV... niiice!

Having never messed with the IBus so far, are you or any fellow IBus-philes able to say if the s/w will work with the the interfaces supplied by reslers.de ( http://www.reslers.de/IBUS/ ). If so v5 USB or just v4 serial.

Your hard work is very much appreicated!

Yes it works well with Dresler's interface. I have his USB device and connect it to the CD multichanger cable in my X3.

I've successfully recoded a Mk4 Nav and the central Languages to UK, ES, US.

To be clear, I have no CD changer in the X3 but instead connect the cable to an IcelinkPlus - the female CD change harness plug pushes straight onto Dresler's device +ive, ground and ibus

That's a great write-up, but I have no idea what he is talking about when he says:

"1. You have to make sure you have the drivers installed for the circuit. They allow the card to emulate a serial connection."

Huh? Doesn't anyone understand this part?
