Verizon RAZR

Anyone know how to assign a ringer to a contact? I'm able to pick a different ringer, but it doesn't save. Any ideas?

?

How do you like the phone? It's in the verizon stores on Monday - picking one up at that time. You order over the internet - or have a contact in a store?

Overall I like the phone. It does what I want it to do, like make phone calls. Some people complain that it doesn't have a memory card slot, etc....
You should take a trip down to your local store, verizon screwed up so many online orders that they released it in the corporate stores on Thursday or Friday.
If your into bluetooth stuff, full OBEX is supported even though verizon says it isn't.
Lots of information here:

I have the MOTO E815, but your Razr has the same menus.
Select a contact > Edit > Highlite Ringer ID > Press change > Choose ringerstyle > Press select > Choose Done

This works for me, good luck!

That's exactly what I did and when I go back in, the ringtone goes back to default.

When you hit "Done", did it say "Changed" or something like that to confirm the change? Mine works fine, that is weird.

Really weird. I go to contacts, select the contact, edit, highlight the ringtone, set, picked the ringtone, ok, then save. It says contact saved. I go back and it changes back to default ringer.

Sounds like a software glitch with the phone.

I sure hope Verizon isn't forcing the phone to only assign ringtones downloaded from them

Verizon is not forcing their ringers, I was able to save it for someone else. I think I'm just going to delete and re-add them.

EDIT: For whatever reason, I deleted the contact, readded and was now able to save the ringer. Weird. Thanks for all the suggestions.
